Ok, So I'm a little behind. . .

I know I haven't been a very good blogger lately but I thought I would post a few pics from the last couple months to catch up a little. Everyone is doing well and although life is going way too fast, I really can't complain, we are very blessed. . .
OK! Change of plans. . . I started this post about a week ago, I keep trying to find time to finish it. . . I tried this morning but for some reason my pictures aren't uploading so I'm posting this just so y'all know I tried and I'll get back to blogging when I get a chance. But don't hold your breath. Sorry!

Brooklyn's 6 month pictures

I really hate going out of order and I still have a few things to blog about from August but I just had to share the pictures I had taken of Brooklyn today. She is now 6 months old. She is still such a joy, she is starting to get around quicker now and isn't really interested in sitting still. She has 2 teeth but I think she might be working on more because she's been a little fussy the last couple days and she attacks anything that gets near her mouth which can be pretty dangerous for our hands, fingers, and faces. Anyways here are the pics.
(They were able to crop this one so you don't see the background.)

Sorry

Sorry, I've been trying to get the video of Lucy wake boarding onto the blog but it doesn't want to work for some reason. But she did do a good job.

Wake-Boarding

Lucy was actually brave enough to try wake-boarding. She got up for a couple of seconds but then fell and once her face got wet she was done. We were really proud of her for trying.

The High Dive

The Moses lake aquatic center had a high dive, Nicholas was scared to go on it at first but after watching a few people go he decided to brave it. I was really proud of him. Of course after he had done it once, he wanted to keep doing it. It was fun.

Moses Lake

The first week of August our family took a little vacation in the sweet city of Moses Lake. It was a lot of fun, and a well deserved break for Billy. We stayed at a campground resort that we bought into last year. Our good friends the Whites were able to be there at the same time which was nice because they have a boat and there's not a whole lot to do in Moses lake if you don't have a boat. We were able to innertube, wake-board, surf and swim. We went to the aquatic center in town which was actually really fun, they had 3 water slides and a great kiddie area. Overall it was a great little get away for our family.

Billy wake-surfing. For those of you who don't know what that is, you can actually surf on the wake right behind the boat. Once you get it down you can actually drop the rope and you can keep riding the wave for as long as you can. It is pretty fun. Brooklyn and her friend Dallis just chillin on the boat.
Two hot babes ready for the pool. Deanna gave us this swimsuit and cover at Brooklyn's baby shower and just had to get one for Dallis too. Aren't they cute!

Brooklyn actually really liked the pool, she loves to splash.
Hunter, Nicholas, and Dallis Lucy just hangin by the pool.
Lucy and her buddy Cooper on the tube.

Noah had a lot of fun and he thought it was cool to wear his swimsuit everyday. It was a few days after we got home before we convinced him to start wearing regular clothes again.

Look I was there too!

Time to Catch Up! (July)

Well it's 9:00p.m. and all of my kids are in bed so I thought I'd better take this oppurtunity to catch you all up on what The Jessee's have been doing all summer.

A Visit from the Wells's
In July, Dustin and Wendy and their kids got to come up for a visit. It was fun to see them. Wendy and I were able to spend a day in Seattle at the Science Center and at the Fountain in Seattle Center. It was a lot of fun and the kids seemed to like it too.
It was really fun for Niko and Lucy to spend time with their cousins that they don't get to see much.
Swim Lessons
The kids also spent the month of July taking swimming lessons twice a week they had a lot of fun and are eager to continue. (Maybe after soccer in the Fall, I will sign them back up) I don't have any pictures of Niko because the day I had my camera, he wasn't there. But here are some pictures of Lucy and Noah.

Happy Birthday Nicholas!!

Nicholas celebrated his 9th birthday on July 29th. (I can't believe I have a 9 year old.) We celebrated at Grandma Jan's house with a barbecue and party. He got some very cool stuff. We gave him a digital camera and he has been snapping pictures ever since. (I'll have to have him upload some of the pictures that he has taken.)

Nicholas also completed all the requirements to earn his Wolf badge in the Cub Scout program. He also earned 3 arrow heads for doing some extra things. Good Job Niko!

And as for Brooklyn . . .

She is still the best baby in the world. She is so happy and easy to take care of, and of course she is adorable! (Not that I'm biased or anything.) Here are some pictures from the month.

Brooklyn loves her brother.

Tell me that's not cute!

With all the running around we have to do Brooklyn has to spend a fair amount of time in her car seat, but she doesn't seem to mind.

I wish I could post all the pictures from this "photo shoot" she gave a totally different look in each picture and they are all cute, but you guys are probably getting tired of me telling you how cute she is, so I just chose a few.

Happy Birthday Lucy!

Lucy is now 6 years old, I can't believe it!

On Monday we celebrated by taking her out to dinner at the Olive Garden. She got to choose and she picked Olive Garden because apparently she remembered that they have "the best macaroni and cheese ever!" She wasn't disappointed and was especially happy when they brought out a small chocolate cake just for her.
Today we had a party with Lucy's friends. It was a Tinker Bell theme and we had fun decorating fairy wings, playing games, and eating cake. Overall I'd say she had a pretty good birthday!

Brooklyn is 4 months old!

Well another month has come and gone. I took Brooklyn to get her pictures taken on the 7th (Saturday) She was so happy and smiley that we got a lot of good pictures. Unfortunately they didn't change the background at all, so I only ended up buying 2 poses.
She is still doing really well, she started rolling from her back to her belly last weekend and hasn't stopped since. Unfortunately I forgot about that, and she rolled off the couch today. She was pretty mad but doesn't seem to be injured in any way. She is also on full time bottle now. I tried giving her some rice cereal and she seemed to really like it but didn't know what to do with it. She would open her mouth and let me put it in, then she would close her mouth for a few seconds, then she would start smiling really big and it would all just fall out. It was pretty funny. She would get mad if I stopped giving her some so we just kept making a big mess.

Time Flies

I can't believe it but Brooklyn is already 3 months old. Well actually 3 and 1/2. She is doing really well. She is super happy and eager to share her smiles with anyone she meets. She rolled from her belly to her back about a week ago and is really becoming interested in the world around her. She is just a really fun baby.

June 10th

June 17th

Brooklyn wasn't enjoying this picture session too much. And it looks like she inherited the Wells' crying eyes (red and blotchy.)

Nicholas helped me get a few smiles.

She is starting to reach for toys and play more.

Lucy has had several end of the year activities. In May she had a Mother's day tea where I got to go to school and watch her perform a few songs and then we had some treats. It was really fun. She also had a graduation progrom from Scenic Hills (her private Kidergarten) It was really fun and Lucy was great. I know her teachers there really love her and it has been a great building block for her. She cried when we had to leave but I promised her I would take her to visit next year since Noah will be attending pre-school there. Here are a few pictures from those events.

Well I was hoping to add a few pictures of Niko and Noah but by the sounds of my kids, my time is up. Hopefully I'll get back to it later but no promises.
