Memorial Day

This year for memorial day, we spent the weekend with our friends the Ketner's.  We went up to La Conner and had a blast hanging out and playing on the beach.  The weather was beautiful.  On Saturday we drove up to deception pass.  It was really cool to walk down and around the bridge and see the beautiful views.

Beautiful view from the bridge.

Playing on the beach on the other side of Deception Pass.

Niko giving Noah some pointers on the Kayaks.

Where'd Billy go?

Oh, there he is, I guess he needed a little wake up after working all night.

Beautiful sunsets every night.

The girls decided they wanted to build a raft so, with some help from Billy and Jesse, they did.

I think there were some flaws in the plan.
After a little down-sizing the raft was perfect for Brooklyn.

I'm not sure but I don't think that kayak was made for three people, luckily they didn't mind getting a little wet.

Go Niko, Go!

We had quite a few Bald Eagles sightings while we were there.  This one stayed put long enough to get some good pictures of.

Amazing!!!

On Sunday evening we drove over to Mt. Erie and enjoyed more breath taking views and playing in the trees.

Jessica,  (big) Noah, Lucy, Jaden, Brooklyn, and (little) Noah.
